I work almost exclusively from photographs and my specialty is to create fun and colorful oil portraits or very realistic pencil or pastel drawings of your companion. Being an animal lover myself and having spent my life surrounded by pets of all kinds, I appreciate how important it is not only to capture the outer physical characteristics of your pet, but also the spirit within.

 SIZES and MOUNTS : Portraits may be any dimension you prefer, although smallest stize that I would recommend is 6 x 6. I paint on either stretched canvas or gessoed masonite board. The finished painting is also sprayed with a light protective fixative to ensure its safety and long life.

PHOTOGRAPHS: All of your non-digital photographs will be returned safely. Please remember, the detail of the final portrait is directly related to the quality and focus of the photographs you send. Extra photos are also suggested as these can serve as a reference for colouring, close-up details, and personality. Subjects, features, or backgrounds can be combined from separate photographs, and elements such as collars and leashes can easily be omitted. Please note: if your photos were taken professionally, you will need to ask the photographer for copyright permission.

I accept Credit or debit card payments via PayPal: PayPal can now process your payments even if you do not have a PayPal account! When you are ready to purchase your portrait, I will send you a PayPal invoice via email which enables you to do so using their user-friendly and secure online payment website.
